On Litsea Job Board we use the following types of cookies:

Essential cookiesEssential

Necessary for the platform to function. Without them, services such as login, account management and session security would not work correctly.

Examples: Supabase authentication session, CSRF security tokens.Duration: Session duration or up to 7 days with remembered session.
Preference cookiesEssential

Remember your language preference (ES / EN / FR) so you don't have to select it every time you visit the platform.

Consent cookieEssential

Stores your cookie preferences so we remember your choice and do not ask again on every visit.

Examples: litsea_consent.Duration: Up to 1 year.
Analytics cookiesOptional

Help us understand how users interact with the platform to improve its functionality. Data is collected anonymously and in aggregate form.

Examples: Google Analytics (when implemented).Duration: Up to 2 years.

Third-party cookies

Some third-party services used on the platform may set their own cookies. Litsea does not control the behavior of these cookies. The main third parties are:

  • Supabase — authentication and database provider. Uses session cookies to manage authenticated access. See the Supabase privacy policy.
  • Google OAuth — when you sign in with Google, Google may set its own cookies. See the Google privacy policy.

How to manage cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may prevent the platform from working correctly, including login.

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Cookies.

Consent

On your first visit, a banner lets you Accept all, allow Essential only, or Manage your preferences by category. Essential cookies are always active because they are necessary for the service to function; optional cookies (such as analytics) are only set with your consent.

You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
