Pursuant to the Mexican Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), its Regulations and other applicable provisions, we inform you of our Privacy Policy and Personal Data Management Policy for the Litsea Job Board platform (empleos.litseacc.edu.mx). By creating an account or using the platform you acknowledge having read and understood this notice.
Data Controller
Litsea Centro de Capacitación, Salute per Acqua Riviera Maya, with address at Avenida Luis Donaldo Colosio, Lot 15, Block 38, Bosque Real, Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, ZIP 77714, Mexico, is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data on the empleos.litseacc.edu.mx platform.
Personal data we collect
For the operation of the platform we collect the following data, depending on user type:
Therapists: full name, email address, phone number, profile photo, therapeutic specialties, work zones, professional biography, years of experience and certification documents.
Employers: establishment name, representative name, email address, phone number, website, logo and business description.
All users: IP address, device and browser type, language, and browsing data necessary for the correct operation, security and improvement of the platform.
We do not request sensitive personal data (such as health, religious or ideological information). Certificates uploaded by therapists are professional credentials, not sensitive data.
Data obtained through Google Sign-In
If you choose to sign in or register using your Google account, we receive from Google only your basic profile information: name, email address and profile picture. We do not access your contacts, Drive, Gmail or any other Google service.
Limited Use disclosure: Litsea Job Board's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. This information is used solely to authenticate you and create your platform profile, and is never sold or used for advertising.
Purposes of processing
Primary purposes (necessary to provide the service):
- Creating, authenticating and managing your account.
- Publishing and managing verified therapist profiles and employer vacancies.
- Facilitating the job application process.
- Verifying the authenticity of certificates issued by Litsea.
- Enabling communication between therapists and employers when authorized by the Litsea team.
- Sending transactional notifications about your account or applications.
Secondary purposes (not necessary, require your consent and may be declined):
- Anonymous, aggregated usage analytics to improve the platform.
- Sending information about new relevant features or opportunities.
You may object to secondary purposes at any time by writing to informes@litseacc.edu.mx without affecting the provision of the service. The data you enter will not be sold, distributed or commercialized with third parties outside the described employment-connection process.
Service providers (data processors)
To operate the platform we rely on trusted providers who process data on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations:
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage (profiles, certificates).
- Resend — sending transactional emails.
- Google — optional sign-in (OAuth).
- Hosting/infrastructure providers — serving the platform.
These providers only access the data strictly necessary to perform their function and may not use it for their own purposes.
Data transfers
Your personal data may be shared with employers or therapists involved in a contact process enabled by the Litsea team, always within the platform context.
International transfers: some of our providers (Supabase, Resend, Google) store and process data on servers located outside Mexico, mainly in the United States, under their respective privacy policies and applicable international transfer frameworks. By using the platform you acknowledge these transfers, which are necessary to provide the service.
Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account remains active and for the period required to comply with legal, accounting or security obligations. Once you request account deletion, your data is removed or anonymized within a reasonable period, except for information we are legally required to retain.
Confidentiality
All information provided by you will be treated as CONFIDENTIAL, with the sole legal exception of a judicial order from a competent authority, and persons you designate to receive notifications.
ARCO Rights
You have the right to Access your personal data, request its Rectification when inaccurate or incomplete, its Cancellation when you consider it is not used appropriately, and to Oppose its use for specific purposes.
To exercise your ARCO rights, send a request to informes@litseacc.edu.mx including your name, a copy of valid official ID, a clear description of the data and the right you wish to exercise. We will respond within a maximum of 20 business days. You may also manage much of your data directly from your account settings.
Consent withdrawal
You may at any time withdraw your consent and request deletion of your account and data by email to informes@litseacc.edu.mx or in writing to our physical address. Withdrawal may, in some cases, mean we can no longer provide the service.
Limitation of use and disclosure
You may limit the use and disclosure of your personal information by registering in the Public Registry to Avoid Advertising (REPEP), managed by the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO), so your data is not used for advertising purposes.
Use of cookies and tracking technologies
Our platform uses cookies and similar technologies to keep your session secure, remember your preferences and, with your consent, measure usage. You can manage your preferences at any time from the cookie banner or your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Data security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including data encryption in transit, role-based access control (Row Level Security) and secure file storage. Certificates are stored in a private bucket accessible only through temporary signed URLs.
Minors
The platform is intended for persons of legal age (18 years or older). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor without parental consent, we will delete it.
Third-party links
When accessing this platform you may be directed to sites outside our control. Litsea Centro de Capacitación does not endorse, represent or guarantee the privacy policy or content of any third-party website linked to our platform.
Complaints before the authority
If you believe your right to data protection has been infringed, you may file a complaint with the National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection (INAI) at home.inai.org.mx.
Changes to this privacy notice
This Privacy Notice may be modified due to new legal requirements, our own needs or changes in our operating model. The current version will always be available on this page, and substantial changes will be communicated through the platform or by email.
Misuse
Misuse of our electronic communication platform will be reported pursuant to applicable legislation.
